Summary: Amazing Car Seat
Comment: Like the other purchasers who have reviewed, we did a LOT of research before picking this car seat. The safety ratings and reputation of Britax made the difference for us. Some of our friends have used other Britax models, and they all loved them. We purchased one for each of our cars and they have been great. Easy to adjust as our daughter has grown and still comfortable for her. This is really a great car seat.

Summary: Great car seat
Comment: We already had one of these and liked it so much that we bought a second one for our other car. We tried a Graco car seat but it wouldn't fit in either of our cars. Actually, it was such an odd shape I couldn't see how it would fit in any car. This one is perfect and from all the research we did, we found it was one of the safest and best reviewed.

Summary: Great Car Seat and Made in North Carolina
Comment: We searched a long time and were happy with the safety features of this seat. As a bonus, it is made in North Carolina, so we were glad to support some jobs in a state that has been so hard hit in the recession.

Summary: Safe! Car Crash Testifies...
Comment: A crazy woman ran a red light at an intersection and rammed into us as we made a left turn. Fortunately, we were not seriously hurt. If she had hit us a few few feet further, my husband would have been killed. In any case, our 2 year old was in this car seat and was very well protected. The police/ambulance came and inspected the seat to make sure it took the impact well and they said she was in the safest part of the car.

And thank goodness we had this carseat inspected at a police station prior to the crash. My husband had installed it in the beginning but it was wobbly a bit. After it was professionally inspected, I couldn't budge it at all. Please have your carseats inspected!

In terms of comfort, I much (!) prefer this over the Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat, Matrix that's in our other car. Compared to the Graco, the Britax is constructed solidly. The straps are also solid so it doesn't always twist around like the Graco's.

I would buy another Britax in a heartbeat.

Summary: The Volvo of Car Seats
Comment: We've been using the Britax Roundabout for a few months now. Since money is tight, we bought only one to use between 2 cars. Our daughter is 18 months old, and we still keep her rear facing according to the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines. The ease of use of this seat is excellent. There is velcro on the sides of the seat to keep the belts out of the way when placing the child into the seat, or taking the child out. The seat is light, yet durable. It is easy to clean as well. And, you will never lose the instruction booklet, as it is connected to the seat and hides underneath the cloth shell. Overall, this is an excellent buy. It feels like quality, and so far for us, the quality factor is still there.
