Summary: Fits great into a extended cab truck
Comment: I have to say I love this so far!!! My husband has a Ford F350 extended cab truck he has to pick our daughter up every day in. I just had to replace my Britax Roundabout, but our daughter is not quite ready for a booster seat, she likes to play with the straps, which makes me nervous. So, the Britax products were too deep, so I purchased this as an alternate. What an excellent selection... i just installed this tonight, what a dream!!! It fits very well, and takes up less room. I believe all occupants will be pleased....

Summary: Great seat!
Comment: I am very happy with this seat I purchased for my son over a year ago. In fact, so happy that I am here, coming back to buy one for my daughter.

I read discussion boards and checked around for the first purchase. As a diehard Britax mom, I was surprised to see a Graco get such high ratings. My son rides in a Britax Regent in my car 90% of the time. The Nautilus was purchased as a back up seat for my husband's car as well as for traveling because we couldn't imagine traveling with the Regent. The Nautilus is easy to travel with, easy to adjust and install and my son loves this seat. For ease, my husband prefers this seat over the Regent.

I put this seat on par with the Britax as far as quality. Then it gets bonus points for the ease to pack it up and travel with it.

Summary: Compare to Britax, others - this is a great, safe value
Comment: I do a LOT of research on car seats. I have a 3 year old and a 19 month old, so I have had a lot of practice. I have always been a Britax disciple. My 3 year old recently moved into a high back booster. We initially chose a Britax model. It was overly heavy and cumbersome. We then got a Graco TurboBooster. We are so pleased with that purchase. It's light and has very good safety reviews.

We then needed to move our 19 month old boy into a convertible car seat. He definitely outgrew his Britax marathon car seat. I researched extensively. Based on my good experience with my daughter's Graco, we gave this one a try. We particularly liked that we could use the 5 point harness for quite a while - with a kid that weighs a bit more. Our 19 month old isn't fat, but he is husky! So, most other seats might suggest using the lap belt in conjunction with the seat. We are in no way ready for him to use a lap belt!

Our son is a bit snug in the seat. I don't see how we're going to have this for 2 years. But, snug doesn't mean uncomfortable. I just assumed it would be a bit wider since you could have a child up to 65 pounds using the high back before going to the booster. But, for our kid, it's perfect. And, the price is right!

Summary: Great car seat
Comment: We love this car seat and this is the second we have bought as we now have one in each car. It adjusts easily, the straps are easy to use and it is great that it will last until our son is 10 if we want to use it that long. The cup holder on the new one is deeper too which is a good idea. We just wish they'd put a cup holder on each side so you could have snacks in one and a drink in the other.

Summary: Absolutely wonderful!
Comment: I absolutely LOVE this carseat. After having this carseat for only 2 weeks, I got to put it through the "taking apart and cleaning" test. Unfortunately our 2 year old came down with the stomach flu while riding in her new carseat. I was extremely disappointed because as a mom ofhree, I know how difficult it can be to get a carseat truly clean. I was absolutely amazed at the ease of cleaning this carseat. The best feature was being able to take the back off of the seat portion, allowing me to clean every possible space. The straps came off with ease, the seat cushions were able to be removed with ease...as noted with every other carseat we have ever owned, getting straps off can be extremely difficult. Believe it or not, our previous carseat didn't even have the option of removing the straps. Talk about gross! Once everything was cleaned and ready to be assembled, it was a couple quick steps and the carseat was back in working order. I truly wasn't ready to put the new carseat through this test, but boy oh boy am I ever so happy that this carseat surpassed my ease of cleaning expectations. Our daughter absolutely loves her carseat. No more crying when placed in her carseat. She sits like a big girl should and looks very comfortable. I am confident that this is the last carseat I will have to buy for our 2 year old since we have so many options, carseat straps upto 65 lbs and then the ability to convert it to a backless booster. This carseat is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!
